TALK THERAPY FOR ADULTS AGES 20+

Individual Therapy

Making time to self-reflect and evaluate life is crucial to mental health and wellness. Therapy offers structure to help you stop and think about what you need and how to get there. Maybe you’re looking to power through stuck points or clarify personal values; you might even want a place to express the frustrations of daily life. Whatever you need from therapy, I am here to be a non-judgmental listener and collaborator.

In our society, we are expected to keep many thoughts and feelings to ourselves — so it’s difficult to know who you can open up to. Therapy provides open space to unpack thoughts and feelings. It’s never over-sharing or “too much” to talk through your challenges, even if you have a lot of details or cyclical thoughts that you need to replay. I’ll be here to listen, care, and offer evidence-based strategies throughout the process.

What do you need from therapy?

    Living by your values

Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) focuses on helping individuals live in accordance with their personal values. ACT aims to increase the ability to be present, open to experiences, and take effective action guided by one’s values. This is seen as a pathway to greater well-being and meaningful living.

    Explore your many facets

Internal Family Systems (IFS) is a powerful therapy with some comparable features to EMDR. IFS helps individuals connect with different facets of their personality, providing custom support to each part  & promoting harmony of between facets. This therapy can be deeper reaching than normal talk therapy & cause big results in a shorter time frame.

    Finding centered balance

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) aims to support mindfulness, emotional-regulation, and interpersonal strategies. DBT encourages balance between logic and emotions and many complicated paradoxes of human experience. This therapy supports strategies for inner peace and healthy relationships
