About me,

Personal Philosophies & Inspiration

From a young age, I’ve been interested in the human experience. Why do we feel the things that we do? How can we hold so many conflicting truths about the universe and reality? I have seen struggle in my own family and in myself — and I have continued to refine a life philosophy that leads to a peaceful and happy existence. I don’t have all the answers, no one does, but I know that my own passion lies in walking alongside others as they work towards meaningful changes, self-awareness, and inner strength.

Answering questions like: “Who am I?” and “How did I get to the place I am in now?” help us to take control of our own narrative, so that others do not define our self-perception. If we are the authors of our own reality, then we can tell our stories in a light that honors our past and present as we design our future.

ACADEMIC PATH & INFLUENCE

Born in Philadelphia, PA, I began my education in Fine Art before earning my Bachelors in Computer Science and then finally my Masters in Clinical Counseling. My academic path reflects my belief that that logic and emotion in harmony lead to wisdom. My unique perspective as a counselor allows me to respect sensitive, practical, and creative aspects of mental health. If you are hoping to develop straight-foreword solutions and get direct feedback, great! If you need a space to feel your feelings and be completely emotional, also great. If you want to talk philosophy and the meaning of life, perfect, let’s get deep together!

CREDENTIALS & SUPERVISOR

I am currently an LPC-A  working under the supervision of Kristy Donaldson, PhD, LPC-S. I earned my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology in 2022. While I am young in my counseling practice, I am fully equipped with the most up-to-date practices in mental health standards, including consideration for Covid 19 issues and telehealth technology.
